New drug for multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis commonly referred to as MS, is a disease of the body in which the immune system attacks the myelin sheath coating the nerve fibre. Normally, the immune system should only attack foreign bodies.
Myelin helps the nerves to transfer signals so, if the myelin sheath is destroyed, little or no signal would reach the various parts of the body.
The new treatment discovered for this condition is actually a combination therapy of Copaxone and Lipitor.According to WebMd, it has shown promising results but is still undergoing clinical trials, in subsequent blogs, i'll give you a little run down about thier actions.
